As some of you know, [http://en.dollstudio.org/ Dollstudio], Berlin, and [http://www.dollhouse168.com/ Doll House 168], Taiwan, are close friends. Sandro and Wesly share a lot of things they expect from dolls, their manufacturers, the materials used and so on. Sandro moved ahead with dsdolleurope.com, Wesly started dsdoll.com.tw – and I had a pretty tough time reminding them not to completely forget about TPE love dolls. There's no doubt, Doll Sweet makes amazing dolls, but not everybody can or wants to afford these expensive silicone dolls.

The latest result from our partnership with Doll House 168 is a new line of TPE dolls. With this new product line, we will try to address the common shortcomings of current TPE dolls like limited skeleton mobility, weak wrists, chemical smell etc. Another thing we expect from the new supplier is a more rigorous attitude towards quality management and a willingness for quality improvement.

From time to time there are uncertainties caused by the different skin tones of TPE and silicone dolls. This side-by-side comparison shows the brown skin tones by WM Dolls and Doll Sweet.

On the left is a WM Dolls 155 in skin tone WM Brown. TPE dolls have a higher amount of red pigments in the brown skin tone.

On the right is a Doll Sweet 168 in skin tone DS Brown. At least the Doll Sweet silicone is actually brown.

When WM Dolls introduced the free standing 136 cm TPE love doll a week ago, it was like a paradim change. Before, no TPE doll was able to stand unharmed on her own feet. Photos of standing TPE dolls are extremly rare because these dolls do not have a neck bolt for a doll stand. After the 136 cm doll had been announced, all this changed.

This recently released photo set demonstrated what this doll has to offer except free standing…
